Marc Goldman, with extensive expertise developed during 30 years of practice in the area of business litigation, has the proven ability to provide uncompromised legal services. With expertise in every phase of litigation, Marc has earned a reputation for consistently achieving excellent results for his clients.

Having earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University (B.S. – 1971) and a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School (J.D. – 1974) and being admitted to the State Bar of Michigan, Marc Goldman began his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan. He spent nearly 10 years as General Counsel to the Michigan Department of Commerce, Corporation and Securities Bureau during which time he successfully engaged in the regulation of the securities industry. He also became an expert in the law concerning corporations and partnerships, franchises and trade regulation. Marc Goldman has successfully argued issues before the Michigan Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, prosecuted, both civilly and criminally, high profile securities and commodities cases, and won trials before judges and juries.

With 10 successful years in public service Marc Goldman then turned his attention to the Private Sector limiting his practice to business cases. Throughout the past two decades Marc has helped his clients in varied industries obtain favorable results relating to a wide range of business litigation. In 1996 Marc Goldman opened Marc A. Goldman & Associates P.C. after 12 years as a member of prominent Detroit area firms.

Since establishing Marc A. Goldman & Associates, P.C. Marc has seen his practice constantly grow while continuing to win case after case for his clients. The growth of the firm has not changed the commitment to prompt personal service and dedication to every client. An uncompromised work ethic and a vast knowledge of substantive and procedural business litigation matters has led to the success of Marc's practice and satisfied clients. Marc Goldman obtained one of the largest awards in Oakland County Probate Court history when setting aside a pre-nuptial agreement allowing a former wife to enjoy a 15 million dollar estate rather than a $100,000 gift under the will. Marc Goldman was lead trial attorney in a case which resulted in more than 7 million dollars being awarded to 47 former employees of a Detroit based corporation. Recognizing that a good settlement is often better than a good lawsuit, Marc Goldman has negotiated countless settlements that obtained favorable results and avoided the costs and risks attendant to trial. However, Marc knows that a case cannot be settled for the best possible amount if you are not prepared, and capable, to try the case.
